Your Purpose
The Reporting Analyst plays a pivotal role in designing and constructing Tableau dashboards to bolster the operations of UK & ROI businesses. Working closely with stakeholders, this role involves crafting visualizations that empower business users to seamlessly access critical insights.
Additionally, the position entails developing Excel-based tools utilizing VBA and Power Query. There is a primary responsibility to develop skills in Data Bricks using Python, SQL, and R, further
enhancing data processing capabilities. Guided by Agile principles and under the direction of the Reporting Manager, the role prioritizes workload, implements sprints, and continually enhances
solutions.
The Reporting Analyst also engages in project scoping, ensuring clear objectives and
deliverables are defined at the outset of each initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams to grasp reporting requirements and business objectives. Lead project scoping efforts, ensuring clear objectives, and deliverables are defined for each initiative. Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, ensuring users access pertinent insights efficiently. Provide comprehensive training and support to end-users for utilizing dashboards, reports, and Excel-based tools effectively.
- Construct Excel-based tools using VBA and Power Query to streamline data analysis and reporting processes. Utilize SQL, R, or Python to engineer and cultivate data sources, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Identify opportunities to enhance existing dashboards and proactively propose value-added solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand data requirements and uphold data integrity and precision.
- Foster a self-serve culture and improving data collection, analysis, and reporting processes. Business partner with a specific area of the business, serving as the go-to person for developing a reporting program.
About You
- Proficiency in Tableau for dashboard design and development
- Strong command of VBA and Power Query for Excel-based tool creation.
- Familiarity with SQL, R, or Python for data engineering and development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
