Cloudbooking is the world’s fastest growing workspace management supplier. Our highly configurable and complimentary service suite is used by clients across the globe as an end to end workspace management solution, customised to the needs of their business.
Cloudbooking solutions are always designed with one goal in mind: to make people’s lives easier and to enable businesses to get the most out of their work environment, whilst simultaneously empowering property, facilities and workspace leaders to make data driven strategic decisions to help maximise the value of corporate real estate assets.
Cloudbooking’s suite of holistic services encapsulates everything the brand stands for – flexibility, transparency, intelligence and simplicity.
Cloudbooking firmly believes that a brand that endorses flexible working for their clients should also practice that same principle. All Cloudbooking employees work flexibly and remotely. Gone are the standard 9 to 5 working hours, instead employees are trusted to get the job done at times convenient to them, the business and their personal commitments.
This culture of trust and flexibility has directly resulted in 94% employee retention at Cloudbooking, a positive benefit to the business in many ways, but most directly contributing to customer retention and business growth. A highly motivated and happy team of ‘Cloudbooker’s’ has led to a client retention rating of 96% which has led to the business doubling in size year on year for the previous three years.
Often overlooked by employers, Dads are also given equal flexibility as Mums at Cloudbooking. Senior Solution Architect, Chris Peacock, joined Cloudbooking in 2018 and now sees more of his children by making his work fit around the morning school run, afterschool clubs and important family events, such as sports day.
“I know that Cloudbooking wants me to be happy, and that really helps when it’s been a long day. If companies tried to lure me away, they’d have to beat this – my first question will be ‘what are you going to do for my home life? What does this job do for me?” Chris explains. “I’ve got confidence that I’m being looked after, and I can give more in return. People are at their best when they’re happy, and no two people are the same – so why would you work somewhere where you’re forced to work in a way that doesn’t get the most out of you?”
A quarter of Cloudbooking’s workforce are mums. Debbie Graham is one of those employees, joining the business in 2017, wanting to return to work after her second child. The ‘complication’ was her commitment to her children, and like most parents found that childcare costs and commuting meant she wasn’t breaking even when pay day came around.
“I was in full-time work when I started a family and had my first taste of working from home there. By the time I had my second child, I realised that childcare wasn’t feasible – I wasn’t even breaking even at work after childcare and commuting costs. I took some time to step back from the work role, but once my younger child started school, I needed to find a role that made the most of my skills and let me retain that flexibility. Gerry not only offered me a remote working position at Cloudbooking, but also one that I could build around my other commitments.” Debbie explains.

The benefits of flexible working are not just limited to parents. It gives all employees the freedom to explore other aspects of their lives – enriching personal experiences and improving mental wellbeing.
Jane works in an environment that many would be envious of. Instead of working behind a desk, Jane lives and works in the Scottish Highlands from her Volkswagen LT van. This has allowed Jane the flexibility to downsize her living accommodation so she can save up to build her own home in the near future.
“I’ve been at Cloudbooking for nearly a decade and make a meaningful impact on the company’s everyday operations in London while living out of my van in the Scottish Highlands, I live in a place with stunning views. I have my health and my loving partner, and the ability to fit my working life around what works for me. I feel incredibly lucky” commented Jane.
This way of working has also given her the freedom to explore parts of the globe, taking her work with her. “I’m very lucky to work for a company who understands that it doesn’t make sense for everyone to be based in the same place when it is just as easy for people to work remotely with all the technologies we have today.”
