KPMG has launched a 12-week returners programme for people looking to return to the workplace after an extended career break.
‘Return to Work’ offers positions in the firm’s Tax and Management Consulting divisions and flexible working is available. Management consulting roles are based in London while tax roles are based in London, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester.
Returners will receive mentoring and coaching throughout the placement and there will be networking events to support the transition back into work.
Subject to the programme being a success for both the candidate and the business, KPMG is keen for candidates to continue to work with the firm.
Return To Work is available to anyone who has taken a career break of 18 months or more and wants to get back to work, has experience of working in Tax or Management Consultancy in a Professional Services firm and has the right to work in the UK and is available to start in January 2017.
The deadline to apply for the programme is Monday 12 September at midday. After an initial screening process, applicants may have the opportunity to attend a Back to Work event on 28 September 2016 which will provide training on interview skills prior to an interview on 4 October 2016. The 12 week placements will start from Monday, 9 January 2017.
Return to Work is part of KPMG’s wider strategy to improve diversity at all levels. The Return To Work programme is open to all, but in particular aims to encourage women back into the workplace who have taken time out and are keen to return to work.
