New podcast launches for parents who want to progress their careers
The Leaders with Babies podcast is for parents who want to progress their careers without missing out on family life.
An award-winning social enterprise dedicated to supporting parents of young children who wish to progress their careers has launched a new podcast.
The Leaders with Babies podcast is aimed at men and women on maternity leave, shared parental leave or adoption leave (and the three years afterwards), who want to continue to progress their careers, but not miss out on their children.
Each episode features an in-depth interview with an inspiring business leader and the series is full of essential advice, expert guidance and practical tips on progressing a leadership career alongside raising a young family.
In series one, guests include Dame Helena Morrissey, founder of the 30% Club and Head of Personal Investing at Legal and General, who has nine children; Nick Wilkie; outgoing Chief Executive of the National Childbirth Trust, and Dame Geraldine Strathdee, former National Clinical Director for Mental Health, NHS England.
In the programme guests share the challenges they have overcome and the practical solutions that have helped make their positive vision for career and family life a reality.
