Workingmums’ sister site workingwise.co.uk is looking to hear from older people about their experiences of job search, flexible working, health and more as part of its 2023 survey.

The results of the survey for over 45s will be announced at this year’s National Older Workers Week in November with experts analysing what the data means.

It covers everything from the ongoing impact of the cost of living crisis, including the impact on working hours/return to work/second or third jobs, attitudes to flexible working and the new flexible working regulations, health – both mental and physical – and the impact of treatment delays on work, training, and pensions issues to Artificial Intelligence and potential concerns about bias in the recruitment process and attitudes as well as self employment and what prompted it.

National Older Workers Week 2023 runs from 20th to 24th November with a series of free events on best practice for older workers, an online careers fair with advice for jobseekers and resources for those seeking to boost their age diversity.

We have also prepared 5 Actions you can take during National Older Workers Week for employers who want to take part in the Week as well as a range of other suggestions for longer-term actions.
