PepsiCo UK is seeking people who have taken a career break for its first ‘Ready to Return’ (R2R) initiative.
The company is looking for people with experience across supply chain, finance and sales who have taken a career break of at least two years to participate in a 10- to 12-week paid programme.
Participants will receive mentoring and coaching support, as well as training to refresh their skills and build new ones. When the programme finishes they will also be considered for open PepsiCo roles that match their skills and capabilities.
Jesper Petersen, Vice President, Human Resources, PepsiCo UK & Ireland, said: “Attracting and engaging a diverse range of people is critical to our success and at the heart of our business strategy…We want to attract and retain the best talent out there and hope that this programme will unveil some strong contenders.”
The programme was piloted in the US in 2017 and all the participants were offered contract extensions. Half are now in full-time employment at PepsiCo.
