Last year I took two months of agreed sick leave. While I was on leave my role was changed to a more senior position, meaning that I would be earning far less commission than I did and my wage not increased. Commission has always made up 40% of my wage. My outgoings are now more more than my income as I’m back down to my basic wage which was always agreed to be lower because I’m so heavily commissioned. I’m having to cancel direct debits, sell my car and potentially sell my home to release equity. Despite promises, my wage has not been increased. What can I do?
