PwC has launched its second programme for senior professional services managers who have taken a career break of two years or more and are looking to return.
The Back to Business programme is looking for managers and senior managers in its consulting practice across PwC. It involves a 16-week paid senior internship “designed to encourage talented women back into the workplace after an extended career break”. The programme is aimed at women but applications are open to all.
It includes a week-long induction with a peer, a dedicated partner sponsor, shadowing a member of the team who will help the initial transition back to work, being assigned to real client projects and touch points throughout the programme to see how the returnee is getting on. There will also be ongoing support throughout.
At the end of the 16 weeks there may be an opportunity to become a permanent member of the PwC staff.
Applications for the programme close on Sunday 21st August and it begins on Monday 7th November.
PwC’s consulting team comprises experts in a number of fields including management consulting, technology and strategy. Skills it is looking for include HR transformation, climate change and sustainability, digital, corporate strategy, insight & analytics and finance and operations transformation.
PwC’s first returner programme launched last October.
