IT and business skills training experts QA have launched a returner programme which offers those who have taken a career break to return or start a career in the tech sector.
QA’s Return | (Re)Train initiative will be offered across QA’s UK-wide training centres, including through its Training Academies and its online learning platform.

The dedicated programme will help returners acquire teaching skills in the technology sector, helping delegates and apprentices on IT and business programmes upskill and take the next steps in their careers. For those who are completely new to teaching, QA will offer fully-funded TAP-accredited training programmes in training delivery. QA has also introduced a new specialised training course for returners to build confidence, leadership and communication skills. Returners will also benefit from a phased three-month settling-in period in which they are paired up with a colleague “buddy” for support.
The programme offers returners flexible working contracts and a 25-day holiday package with the option to buy five additional days. Like all QA employees, returners are also entitled to three days of free training per year from QA’s 1,500+ courses to upskill on any topic they choose.
