Do you want to take part in some research on gender in the workplace, career progression and shared parental leave?
A leading researcher is looking to take a snapshot of men and women’s attitudes on these issues and then to repeat the study in three years time once SPL has bedded down.
Sarah Fraser Butlin is an Affiliated Lecturer in Labour law at the Univrsity of Cambridge and has worked with Professor Simon Deakin on a study of the gender pay gap which was recently published in the Cambridge Journal of Economics. The survey will be anonymous and those taking part will be unidentifiable. This is one strand of the work.
The other two strands of the research involve interviews within some commercial organisations exploring what they are doing and trying to do to enable women to progress in their careers and how successfully that is happening and interviews with women’s and parents’ groups.
