An anonymous London-based tech company is recruiting an interim chief feminism officer to boost its gender diversity.
The CFO will increase female recruitment and support and mentor female staff. The post is being advertised as a six-month post initially, but it could be extended. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years’ experience in senior roles in the tech industry, preferably in global corporations. It will be paid at a rate of £1,000 per day.
The role is open to both men and women. The job ad states that ‘both sexes can offer different insights and expertise on sexism within the workforce and draw on personal experiences of professional gender inequality from different perspectives’.
The ideal candidate is described as a ‘people person’, with good social skills and an empathetic nature. However, they must also be strong minded and confident in implementing new business strategies and managing a large team.
