If you were on the payroll as at 19th March and included in the submission to HMRC on or before that date and the employer had applied under the job retention scheme, you ought to have been paid under it. It sounds like either they did not apply for furlough for you or simply decided to just ignore you because you had said you could not come in because of your childcare commitments.
