A tv production company is looking for busy working mums to take part in a food swap series for Channel 4.

Twenty Twenty are casting for a food programme which will explore the way families shop, cook and eat.

The series will be made up of 30-minute programmes for Channel 4 and will follow two families who live in close proximity to each other but have contrasting food shopping and eating habits. Over the course of four days the families will swap their dietary and mealtime routines.

The idea is for the families to see how other families eat and maybe even learn from each other, whether it’s new recipes, how to budget, banishing food waste or trying new foods.

The show is for anyone whether or not they live to eat or eat to live, including  a family which is stuck in a rut and bored of eating the same food every day, a mum who works full time and is reliant on convenience food or a family which is obsessed with food and can’t wait to share the benefits of all-organic.

The production company are keen to include working mums who have to juggle their careers with taking care of their family’s food needs.

Those who’d like to find out more can reach the team via email at HTOHE@twentytwenty.tv or call 020 7424 7759.  Food costs will be reimbursed.
