workingmums.co.uk relaunches with a new look and feel.
workingmums.co.uk has undergone a makeover to improve navigation around the site and make it easier to find all the advice and best practice on the site.
workingmums.co.uk was launched in 2006 by Gillian Nissim [pictured] to act as a bridge between employers who were looking for experienced, skilled professionals and were able to offer some degree of flexibility to get that and candidates who needed flexibility in order to progress. At the outset she saw this as a win win situation.
Since then the business has developed hugely to encompass not just a flexible jobs board, but news, advice, franchise opportunities, best practice case studies, white papers on gender diversity and flexible working and information on working for yourself.
workingmums.co.uk has evolved over time to include a returner page and a dads section and most recently it has set up a recruitment arm, WM Recruit, which places flexible workers with top employers.
The team, all of whom work remotely, are passionate advocates for flexible working and work closely with employers to shape their job adverts to ensure they get the best talent out there.
Over the years, the workingmums.co.uk’s website has evolved to take account of the business’ expanding agenda. The latest evolution aims not just to refresh the site by giving it a brand new look and feel, but to make it easier to find the wide range of information we have on offer for both employers and jobseekers.
Features, news, blogs and guides are now under easy to navigate categories and jobseekers and employers can now navigate to their own areas of the site to find information relevant to them.
It is all designed to take you to what you need in the fastest time possible. We hope you enjoy it.
