Take part in our survey on flexible working and shared parenting for employers.
What do employers think of the extension of flexible working? Will it make them more cautious about agreeing a request or more likely to appreciate the benefits of more agile ways of working?
Workingmums.co.uk is calling on employers of all sizes to take part in a survey to find out their views on issues ranging from their approach to changes to flexible working legislation to their views on incoming shared parental leave legislation – from whether they feel prepared or know enough about it to what plans they have for dealing with requests.
The survey, which takes no more than 10 minutes, also covers whether they advertise that new jobs can be done flexibly, the gender breakdown for flexible working in their organisation, the challenges they may face in implementing flexible working and whether they feel there is enough support for organisations with regard to how to manage flexible teams.
Also covered are recruitment questions such as what is the most important factor when recruiting for a new member of staff.
The results of the survey will be published on the Workingmums.co.uk website and publicised to registered members and the wider public.
Gillian Nissim, founder of Workingmums.co.uk, says: "It is an opportunity to find out important information from the employers we work with and others on what the issues are for them around implementation of new legislation and on the challenges many face with changing their work culture. The information gathered will be useful in determining the kind of advice and support they might need to get the maximum benefit out of modes of working which are likely to become mainstream in the near future."
