What does equality in work mean to you?

Take the opportunity to share your views

• Do you have the support, freedom of choice and access to key opportunities to do what you want to do with your work and career?
• Do you think that women and men have access to the same job opportunities, share of home and family care, and access to finance?
• Do you believe that girls will have access to the same opportunities and careers as boys?

Economic empowerment is about having the independence, ability and opportunity to have a meaningful say over the things that will affect your economic wellbeing. The Government Equalities Office will be publishing a strategy on gender equality and economic empowerment and wants to hear from you about what would make a difference.

In collaboration with Working Mums we will be holding a focus group in March.

Register your interest in taking part in our facilitated focus group here to join us for a morning discussion in a Central London location 15th March, 10:30 – 12:00.

Applications will close on 7^th March.

Seenit! Instructions

If you are unable to join us on the 15^th March but would like to share a video of why you think economic empowerment is important we would be more than happy for you to share your views on seenit! project.

Simply follow the instructions below:

1. On iPhone go to the app store, or on Android go to the play store and install Seenit Capture.
2. Sign-up to Seenit with your name and email address
3. Join our project by clicking ‘Join a project’ and type: ge3
4. Watch our intro video which explains how the app works and read the terms and conditions.
5. Next, you’ll see three questions. Click each one to take a look at prompts.
6. In the bottom right, hit the filming button and film your response from there.
7. When you’re done, give your video a description and then hit the tick to submit your content.
8. Repeat for the other two questions, and you’re done. Thanks very much for your contribution!
