A workingmums.co.uk and Bright Horizons survey has been launched to find out how employers are dealing with the issues thrown up by COVID-19, in particular those related to supporting working parents.
Working parents are facing tremendous pressures when it comes to tackling the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. But so are employers.
workingmums.co.uk and Bright Horizons are keen to understand those challenges and the new and developing practices being put in place to support working parents as we seek to highlight best practice for the future.
We are therefore launching a survey for employers covering everything from support for furloughed workers and remote working and experience of those processes during lockdown to whether employers are thinking long term about the future of the workplace.
The survey will seek to discover employers’ views on how and when employees might return to the workplace as well as which members of staff this might involve if not all of them and the kind of support being put in place for managers and employees. The survey also asks about redundancy plans as well as recruitment possibilities and other ways of managing change, including job redesign, re-induction programmes for furloughed workers and mental health support.
We will be sharing all the results over the next weeks so that employers can get a broader idea of what others are doing in this area. To take part in the survey, click here.
*workingmums.co.uk will also be holding virtual roundtables and other events to share best practice in the next months. Its COVID-19 parents’ survey results can be found here.
